A stylized horror environment built in Unreal Engine, inspired by the eerie isolation of deep forest settings. Every element—modeling, texturing, lighting, and set dressing—was created by me, with the exception of the fire particle VFX.
The scene combines stylized forms with dark, atmospheric lighting to create a space that feels both inviting and unsettling. Influences include the surreal gothic tones of Tim Burton and the foreboding tension of Silent Hill, brought together in a "cabin in the woods" setting. Visual storytelling plays a key role, from the warm glow of the firelight to the subtle hints of something unnatural lurking in the forest, echoing the themes of The Ritual.
This project served as a complete self-directed study in environmental composition, prop creation, mood lighting, and the integration of narrative into 3D spaces.
